Free calculators for production engineers.
Quick first answers for hole making, threading, bending and busbar. Every tool shows its assumptions and labels results as estimates.
Compressed air tools
A cost map of your compressor room, leak test, variable speed savings, pipe, dryer and receiver sizing, heat recovery and nitrogen.
Typical guide only. Bushing length depends on material, drill type (short, long or flat) and speed. Send a sample part and we will confirm the thread strength on it.

Planning estimate using the standard air bending formula, tonnes = 1.42 × tensile strength × thickness² × length ÷ V ÷ 9.81, with typical tensile strengths. Check against your press and tooling load limits. Hemming and bottoming need several times more force.
Marking, springback or slow setups on doors and panels? We specify segmented and non marking tooling.

Hole sizes follow the common conduit knockout standard used by North American punch makers. Confirm the fitting manufacturer's required hole size for special connectors.
Punching many entries a day? Ask about hydraulic punch drivers and step drills sized to your cabinets.
Enclosure hole makingPlanning estimate using about 1.55 A/mm² for copper and 1.05 A/mm² for aluminum, enclosed and painted, with a parallel bar derating. Final sizing must be confirmed by the design engineer against temperature rise testing and the applicable CSA C22.2 and UL 891 or IEC 61439 requirements.
Punching, cutting and bending busbar in house? We size the punch and die sets to your bar range.
Busbar processingWant us to confirm it on your part?
Send the part and the numbers from the tool. We will check them against your process.
