Punching, cutting and bending tools for copper and aluminum bar
The problem
Burrs and torn holes shrink the contact area at bolted joints, which raises joint temperature. Sharp edges concentrate the electric field in medium voltage gear.
How it works
Portable and CNC units punch, cut and bend copper and aluminum bar in one setup, with punch and die sets sized to each bar.
Sizes and materials
ETP copper and 6101 aluminum, about 3 to 13 mm thick and up to 200 mm wide. Round and slotted holes, offsets and edgewise bends.
Where it pays
Switchgear, panelboards, transformer secondary leads, UPS and data centre power distribution.
